Need Help Identifying a Part
#1

Hey Guys,

I'm attaching a picture of what seems to be a coolant hose retainer of sorts that was attached to one of the 10mm bolts from the timing belt cover. Based on the width, it appears it is supposed to retain the radiator hose, but mine appeared as though it was randomly placed, possibly at belt replacement time, and is not touching anything. I was going to guess to where it might go, but it broke easily in my hand when I took it off. I cannot identify this part nor can the dealer. Can someone identify where this actually goes and relay the part number to me?

Thanks....Michael

That part has been in question before and I believe the result was that it does not have a part number.

It attaches to a timing cover bolt and holds the radiator hose as it passes between the alternator and the cover.

I broke that part while working on the front of my engine.

I just replaced it with a big zip-tie.
