NE Atlanta, GA Area
#1

European Imports on Lawrenceville-Suwanee Rd. I 85 to Exit 111, west about a mile. He works on my 996 and 968. He has full service shop and has treated me fairly. If you need it done quick, he can get it out, but if you aren't in a hurry he has a lot of business. I've seen a lot of Euro cars there, but the owner knows P-Cars and is reasonably priced. He did make a mistake one time on my 968, but the next time he worked on it, he told me about it and fixed it free. No affiliation, I just noticed there were no Atlanta area mechanics in this thread. I got his name from someone on the 968.net site a couple of years ago and have used him ever since.

Thanks Mark. I'm feeling OK. It's weird though, I don't feel like I've had a hear attack. I got an email today from one of the guys I went to college with and a guy I knew died this past weekend from a heart attack. I count myself lucky. I was on my way into my office and there is a hospital 3 blocks away and I didn't waste a lot of time that day. I had probably had at least one before that when I did nothing. When you get over 40 and have any high risk things going on, such as high blood pressure, chloresteral, family history, etc....pay attention to what your body tells you. It could save your life.

Sorry to hear about your college mate but good to hear you are doing OK. A few years past that 40 mark already and one thing I will pay attention to is the chest and left arm pains. I jsut hope I can differentiate from my normal pains and tinglings. <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/smile.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

Mark that isn't easy to do sometimes, particularly if you have gastric pain or spinal problems. The one thing that sent me to the hospital the right time though I can describe. If you can remember when you were a kid and ran too far and your side would hurt until you got your breath, the sensation I felt was the same, but up high in my lung alsmost to my neck. I won't forget that feeling anytime soon.
