My Track day Project for My 92 968
#1

I believe Sports car are design to be driving on Track , you should not bee afrarid to use it or have fun at track. I dont like to cruise perfect car on street I rather go out and fight those modern machine with timeless icon

here is my porsche 968 is black/ Black with 6MT .My car is 1 out of 3 in my country(Taiwan). so making me very hard to get parts

THe video is my sec Track day of this car.

what i have done in this track day is Putting new tires 235/40/18 Federal 595 RSR and 265/35/18 Federal 595 RSR

put more rear camber into the car . from -2.5 to .-3 The reason i run this much camber is. my car did not come any LSD. so i want my rear end to be as Plan as possible

however this set up did creat a bit more understeer then i expect

i also put Racer edge's torsen block this time.. will plan to run full pillow ball bushing next year

Front i did not change much still max - camber i can -.2.3 and zero toe

Cool stuff. Those who've never driven their car on the track don't know what they're missing. Very little compares to the sensation of keeping a high performance car on the edge of the performance envelope consistently lap after lap - downhill skiing, maybe. I'm very lucky to live in a town with two very nice tracks, and a third (an F1 track!) under construction.

Yes can clearly see the understeer, what is all the stuff flying around in the car? You need to take all loose objects out of the car, something could get under the petals and can be very dangerous. So I would adjust the rear camber back some, I was running -.3.5 up front and -3.2 in the rear, I reduced the rear to -2.7 it helps rotate the car for me better. Granted I have/had a race car running Hoosier tires.

But enjoy, but be careful its a slippery slope, work you way up little by little.
