My speed yellow 968 coupe
#1

I just picked up a Speed Yellow coupe to go with my cab. Here are the details:

#8 of 10 Speed Yellow coupes produced

1995, nicely optioned with LSD, dual full power seats, dual heated seats, painted rear spoiler, hi-fi sound, painted crest center caps.

The best thing about the car is I purchased it from the original owner and he kept it in fantastic shape. All maintenance was done annually, the car was well cared for during the past 16 years and the condition is incredible. It has 44K miles but it could pass for half of that. All original paint. I have records and documents for everything, and I mean everything, from day 1.

I paid a premium for the car, which is not the way I usually do things, but it is truly an amazing and unique car in fantastic shape and worth all the money.

Fantabulous!

Too bad it means that there is ONE LESS Yellow 968 out there available because I have a feeling that you will not sell that great looking car anytime soon!

P.S. - Oh ya, by the way, Jeff your the culprit that I now have a subscription to Hemmings Sports & Exotics (started with the article in April 2010 about "Minty"). Well... no worry, because that is one great magazine!

while i absolutely detest speed yellow, and except for red, black, or white, don't like non-metallic colors on any car, i am happy for you that you found the car and enjoy it. obviously it found a good home.

somebody is going to need a bigger garage

The car ended up in the right place. Looks great. Now all you need is a Red one, Blue one, and a Brown one and you'll have a driveway full of M&Ms

I've got the red one (but Jeff can't have it!!!!)

Seriously, a super nice find! I suspect it runs like the wind, and has enough miles on it that he can enjoy drivinng it a bit without worrying that it is being greatly devalued... nice options package on it too! How do you folks come up with these super rare finds???

Just opened up November's Panorama to see a nice sounding speed yellow 968 in the For Sale section. An hour later logged to 968 forums to see what seems to be the same car snapped by Jeff! Jeff, is it that Florida car? The car looks fantastic, though I personally would only have speed gelb in CS version (buckets, etc). Congratulations anyway!
