As for the vents, the right side (where I attach the cupholder) is actually a faux vent and quite substantial. I suspect the cupholder will break long before the fake vent cross piece.
As for the scotch, a single malt in a snifter with a water back is the way to go IMHO. Ice and water are for Chivas and Johnny Walker Black.
