Monterey Historics

I will be at the races both days. Anyone else planning to attend? Porsche is the featured manufacturer this year, so there should be some rare and interesting cars present.

I want to go but I have no place to stay. All the hotels nearby were booked and my brother lives over an hour away in San Jose. Any ideas?

I usually just drive down and back both days from Alameda. Takes about 1 3/4 hours to get to the track in the morning and a little longer to get home. I suppose you could stay somewhere in Salinas. Two of the three access routes to Laguna come into the Salinas area, so in many respects it is only a few minutes longer to come in from salinas than from Monterey. Seaside might be an option for a place to stay.

I just answered the other post. Flying from Tampa. Would really like to see as much as possible while there. Will Porsche have a hospitality area?
