Yeah, that's the one that was for sale at First Class Motors in Benicia.

He has a nice collection of hand-picked cars and treats them like his children.

I think they are, I'm still very much a newbie to the 968. I'd say so because the bolsters were beginning to drive me crazy toward the end of the drive back to LA.

lol - well then, be thankful they arean't leather - the intrude a lot more because they are so rigid - i found the cloth sport seat to be much more comfortable than the same seat in leather

Yep, I drove that car and have checked it out several times since. It was out of my budget, but very clean. He has a normally aspirated RUF 964 in there that I drool over every time I look at it. Nice guys.

Congrats,

I expect that it'll be ready today. The slave and master cylinders arrived on Monday - the dealer sent me the parts when he found out that my clutch hydraulics went out.

Per your advise, I asked the shop to replace the high pressure hose as well, which is arriving this morning.

I didn't mind the premium on the car since I was a breath away to picking up the new GTI when the 968 came to my attention. It was a fairly equal comparison, pricewise, including maintenance versus the obligatory modifications I would have done to the GTI. So it basically came down to which car I liked more.

Hey,

This is the only other car( than mine) with cloth Porsche graphic sport seats I have seen. What color are they? They look almost exactly like my Blue? seats. What color is the dash and door panels?

I believe this was a special order only option for factory direct cars. I'm sure there are a few, but at this point I know of two. Yors and mine.

Very Cool.

Pete

BTW, the cloth sports seats are awesome.

Hi Pete,

The seats, carpet and door panels are light grey. Here is another shot:

I love the cloth. It's nice to know how rare it really is.

I'm sure I'll be giving you a call sometime to pick up some goodies.
