Folks,
My air cleaner has a wire mesh on both sides, watermelon colored element. I am quite sure it is K&N, but would like somebody to confirm. Didn't take a picture yet, but could. I think K&N is the only one with mesh. I need to buy the
cleaner / oil from the K&N site (probably), not sure if local FLAPS would have it. Mine is also customized on the bottom with some darker colored material <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/blink.gif" class="smilie" alt="" /> (dirt!!!!). Thanks.

pics will help. Not too many choices out there for the 68 anyway. I believe the cleaning process is the same for all reusable filters as well. lite stream of water to remove debri, air dry and oil the intake side (opposite the engine).
I love my 968 for what it is & don't hate it for what it isn't!
