is everyone passed out after their blowjob?
#1

With 25 Supercharger kits out there now, I expected to hear more from people. I know a few have not been installed yet, but I expected more of them to have something to say. I know we have a number of people with a LOT of mileage on theirs (bva, mrmister, banitsc to name a few), but there have to be a few out there that have been up and running now from batch 1, and there should be at least a half dozen of the ones from batch 2.

I know that gbarrier and DaveN have posted, but where is everybody else? With one exception, and I'm dealing with that weird one, I haven't gotten any phone calls with any real problems, and in fact, while I haven't spoken to everyone, I've talked to a few people who say everything is good. But, we don't get to hear from them in detail on the site.

Come on. Tell us your story. Start a thread, or better yet a blog.

LOL - and feel free to post on RL. (if you dare)

Now now no need to stir the pot. A great product speaks volumes about itself and will generate it's own press! Lol

I'm looking at a Spring install for mine. Plan to drive the Coupe as-is for the colder months and then pull the head for a re-do when it's warm enough to start driving the Cab or Targa. The SC will get installed when everything goes back together. That's my story for now!

My smog was due this July so I was waiting to get it past that first (done - no problems) and yes I know it CARB just didn't want to push that right out of the box...and now after Daven's experience ( I don't have LSD either I am looking in to doing that at the same time) - always something....but soon I will be breaking into the happy Box.

My car is back in the shop for a couple of reasons - when I took it in for the precautionary belts and rollers, it came out with a new vibration at 3,800-4,000 RPMs and I want to ensure everything is right to avoid supercharging a problem, so back it went. Also, the new main seal is leaking heavily - whereas the old one was only "damp".

And, still waiting for the Belt DIY.

I have two problems. The kit is packed with all of our contents in a container waiting for us to figure out where we will be living and secondly - I need another 968 (manual, convertible) to install it into.

Well, there is a third as well - I need to spend more money on the 928 kit to make it work better still (properly), so that has to happen first as well.

Perhaps the SC is so good that everyone is still out driving.

I love my 968 for what it is & don't hate it for what it isn't!
