Just thought I would say hi to all you guys! I bought Rich's (uscarrera) 1994 968 M030. We absolutely love the car. Here are some pictures we took last week....

Look forward to doing some drives and concours with the car!

Wow! Amazingly clean. I'm not a huge red fan but that paint and shine look incredible. The deviated stitching on the seats and doors look awesome. Well done!

Welcome to the club. I'm not sure if or how long you have been lurking here but it's a pretty neat site. Lots of nice people that know just about everything about these cars.

Enjoy!

Thanks guys! This is my 4th Porsche, third red one. I owned three '86 951s. This car is in an entirely different league in so many ways. We absolutely love it! I have been searching for a 968 off and on for about 6 months. M030 was a must have option for me. It allows me to not mess with the car and keep it stock because it is already set up nicely. I wasn't looking for a red car particularly, just happened to be in the right place at the right time....

Incredible! It looks brand new! I so jealous of your pristine batwing (front plastic under-body thingie that goes by a hundred different names). And red is definitely my favorite color for a 968, or any sports/GT car, for that matter. You definitely got a beauty.

just for the record, "lower cover" is the "correct name" - part number 944.505.075.00.01C

Welcome aboard. Yes, absolutely beautiful car. Congrats.

So that's what a 'low cover' is supposed to look like.

Awesome looking car.... Need to get your airbox mod on! Also, did you paint this car after you bought? UScarrera shows this car being speed yellow. http://www.968forums.com/index.php?showtopic=7148&hl= (post #7)

Thanks! No, car is original paint all the way. Uscarrera had the last US 968 that was summer yellow before this car. Also had a 968 club sport that he imported to race. We need to get the ga/al 968 groups together! I'm busy cleaning underneath the car with a toothbrush to make it showroom underneath as well.

Yes we do! Mine isn't nearly as pristine as yours.. it's a DD to boot... but always up for a G2G. Still have to pop that cherry. Other than mine, I've only physically seen 3 other 968s whilst driving - and never in mine.
