This weekend I finally took the plunge and installed the RS Barn stage 1 chip. I was quite worried about this, cause I have never fiddled with a car's computer, but it was quite easy and the only hard part was getting the DME frame out from the foot well. After installing the chip, I thought I might as well do the Airbox mod. I finished that on Monday night, but I didn't get to drive the car until this morning.
What a difference!! The car just feels so much more enthusiastic now, it actually reminds me of the way my 964 felt...it has a real sense of urgency about it. I am not sure what the difference is in HP, but it just feels so much better.
Another satisfied RS Barn customer!

welcome to the club. I really hoped to hook up my g tech and do a couple before and after runs to get some type of measurement on each mod. Never got around to it though.
I love my 968 for what it is & don't hate it for what it isn't!

and now you are on the slippery slope...first its a chip and soon you won't be able to look at your car without contemplating your next mod...

LOL...you guys are funny!!!
I think I am on step 6. Now I just need more money...I'll have to divert some more money into the 968 Maintenance account. Oooo that sounds like the addict speaking.
There is just so much I want. 996 3 spoke airbag wheel, new castor blocks, Complete RS Barn exhaust, braces....and dare I even think about it....creating a Turbo S replica.
Someone please save me from myself!
