<{POST_SNAPBACK}><!--quotec-->OK. In reverse only, from the front right wheel only, when cranked about 80% or more....
There's a TAP-TAP-TAP...
On paper it sounds like a CV (boot or joint), but it doesn't SOUND like a CV - not that tell-tale "click". This noise is not necessarily LOUDER, but more boistrous or full. And the experience I've had with CVs going out before - the sounds came in forward AND reverse.
So, what doth the Gregory House's of the 968 Forum think it might be?
And my tensioner started to squeel again.
And that slight rattle under the car - gotta be a loose bracket in the exhaust
Ugh... if I only had a garage of my own...
Sorry fo the vent, thanks for the advice!<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Not sure if this will help, but I had a similar issue, same kind of sound that I heard only coming in and out of my parking space. Turned out to be a body retaining piece in the upper rear wheel well that had come loose and was under certain conditions touching the tread on my rear tire. In the underground parking it sounded like the front.
