Yup. Many 968's (including mine, when I bought it) have the one with the blue stripe, which is incorrect.

happens all the time. it doesn't help that the "blue" they use to stripe these is an aqua color, and likely mistaken for green. the green is really green though.

Ditto, the blue ones kill firewalls (more easily).

That's right - they require greater force to depress, but because of some aspect to them that interacts with the pedal assembly differently than the green stripe place, they don't exert any more force on the clutch disk. So you have higher effort, and greater strain on the firewall, without any increase in clamping force.

Ah? I always thought the blue one would have stiffer "fingers" or something like that. But it's actually a difference in design then?
