How to disable the alarm ?
#1

Did a search, but can't bring up the answer to this : how do you "permanently" disable the alarm on our cars ? Is there a fuse or a relay which affects ONLY the alarm and nothing else which I can remove ? Or , alternatively can the wires / connection to the alarm horn be disconnected ? ( I think there is a dedicated second horn, not the steering wheel one, but don't know where it's located ..is there one ? ) Anyway, just trying to see if there is a way to discontinue its function.

You can turn of the original alarm by closing the doors with the switch on the console and then close the passengerside door.

The alarm is off and the car is locked.

Otherwise you can remove the module behind the wooden floor in the passengerswell and reconnect some wires.

But your central lock system will not work anymore...

Yeah, if the central locking system is tied to the alarm and there is no way to separate one from the other if I permanently disable the alarm, i guess I'll have to live with it..
