Where to buy KYB replacement rear shocks?
#1

I've seen these mentioned as a good stock replacement route, but I can't seem to find them anywhere. Pelican has the Boge replacements at $433 each, so no way with that of course.

Help?

I purchased my set at a local European auto parts outlet - Parts For Imports. The pair was $89.00 with tax (three years ago). Part number was KG4544.

Awesome, thanks. How are they holding up? Did they change the stock ride characteristics any?

Best,

They seem to be holding up fine. They helped stiffen the rear (remember, that's compared to the almost-ten-year-old shocks they replaced) and I have spent absolutely no time thinking about doing anything more in the rear (except that I had the M030 sway bar installed last fall). For my purposes (daily driver and occasional DE) the car is sufficiently adept and compliant - meaning that I can use it for long trips with no complaints about harshness from my wife.
