Hi From London
#1

Hi

I tought i would join on here as im an active menber of the 968uk forum, and have spent the last year rebuilding and refubishing my 1992 Cobalt Blue Coupe

I have never owned a Porsche before but was a spanner man from leaving school in 1976 to 1994 been doing lots of other things since like familys and so on.

as i appoach my dotage i wanted a car that i could "play with" and hunted for a decent 944 turbo sadly none to be found but stumbled on the 968, i have no recollection of ever seeing one before "they are quite rare here" I just had to have one.

It has been a year of things being broken, rusty and just plain horrid but finally getting there, just needs painting now

thanks for reading my potted history, seems i picked the wrong time to sign up with the forum up for sale.

Martin

Anyone with the impeccable taste of owning not only a 968, but a coupe, and furthermore in a brilliant blue can only be a Gunners fan :-) :-) . ( even if he is from the East side of London, and Arsenal is North, lol.. )

The kids are gunners fans, but the two oldest girls are married to Spurs fans, can create a little rivalry

The Mrs is a West Ham fan

I personally just like a good game.

As soon as I have the required number of posts I will put up some pics of my Cobalt Blue Coupe

Nice car! I'm curious: the strip on the side, is it original?

The rubbing strips on the sides were an optional extra, it's on the sticker in the boot

It was ordered with 17" cups, CS steering wheel, rubbing strips as extras, it's still got all it was spec'd with
