Will be interesting to see the actual sales prices for those will be, when they do sell.

Two garage queens among those, not sure why bother to buy a car which is truly meant to be driven, and deny yourself the joy of doing that , just in hope that with low mileage it will appreciate some day ..?!

Don’t forget the supply demand theory. I’m doing my best to drive prices up!

$82,500 had better be a pristine Club Sport.

Without spending a few hours driving a 968 so you can appreciate just what this car truly is,  I don’t think anyone other than a pure collector who happens to need a 968 in their stable would give a minute’s consideration to spending anything more than $ 25 K for a 968, regardless of how low the mileage is.   So those prices on Hemings are targeting that esoteric connoisseur, and prospective collector seeking specifically for a 968,  not just anybody looking for a special car ; you can buy early-mid 2000s Aston Martin DB9s, or Maseratis Granturismos  for  $ 30-$40 K .. who the heck in their right mind would think : hey I’ll gladly spend $ 38 K, or $75k , or 82 K for a 4 cyl  968 instead !  Again, without having driven the car long enough to realize that  “ I’ve become one with the car feeling “  that almost no other automobile, old or new,  gives you ...IMHO.
