Greetings from San Francisco, California!
#1

When I graduated from college in 2000 I bought, from the original owner, a 1995 Ducati 900SS SP as a graduation gift to myself. I bike I still own, love and never intend to part with. I have traveled many miles on the Ducati (including a 3,500 mile ride from SF to Banff, BC and back in 2006).

It was well prior to 2000 that I had learned about the 968, a car which I could not afford at the time but continued to be vehemently fascinated with. Finally, in Spring 2007 I could no longer restrain my desire, especially after reading several online reviews including the following: “The 968 is not a drag-race car; 0-60 is OK, but 60-160 is fantastic.” In April 2007 I found and purchased my 968 from its original owner with around 51K miles on it. It was the same year as my Ducati, 1995. It is a car I own, love and never intend to part with.

I have since driven many miles in the 968, one of my first trips being to Big Sur and through Paso Robles wine country. I look forward to many more weekend adventures, new friends and much witty/technical 968 banter.

Best Regards ; )

Welcome,

Looks like we are adding to the Bay Area contingent - Napa, Sonoma, now SF -

Now if our roads around here were not in such @$%&*% shape, we could actually enjoy our cars even more!
