Headlights keep cycling.... Arrrrgh!
#1

This is odd. Got up this morning and the battery was completely dead. Jumped it off, and the headlights kept cycling up and down. They would only stay satationary (in the up position) if switched to the full "on" position. Also, the dash lights would not go out. In addition, the wipers would not shut off. I disconnected the battery just to keep it from draining.Has this happend to anybody before?

I will say I drove in the rain last evening with the fuse box cover off. I did not realize the last place I had it serviced forgot to put it back on. My car seems possesed!

Similar thing happened to my relative's Boxster after the interior flooded. That one the alarm computer under the seat was fried but maybe if your fuse box dries out it will be ok.

Wow, a demon car, maybe you should pour some holy water over it :-)

Put a fan blowing on the fuse box for a day and see if that dries things out. Also WD-40 spray the whole thing as the WD stands for "water dispenser"

Hope that helps

Yeah, I'm hoping that letting it dry out will do the trick. The air will be dry here for the next few days, so it's hood up and fuse box cover off for the next 48 hours.
