The shop manual says
step 1: 15 lb*ft
step 2: 60°
step 3: 90°
I don't have a wrench that clicks when I set an angle, but I do have a wrench that clicks when I set a torque. Does anyone have the torque numbers/steps for a 16v head?

I guess I need a special tool - thanks for the tip, I didn't know they made that tool.
I already torqued to 15lbft using a 10-150lbft wrench, and I drew a 60° angle on paper as a 'gauge' and did my best. Is that OK? Did I screw up? Overall this whole thing seems wonky, but the gasket is already squished so there's no turning back.
Or should I start over? HGs aren't exactly cheap but I want to do this right.
