Another year has gone by in a blur and I noticed that today (or was it yesterday/) was a the third annversary of Bob, Pete and I agreeing to take over the reins from Eric Sandoval.
78,783 on the clock on Saturday, the first time I had driven the car in almost 4 weeks.
This year, the site has grown even more than 2 years before. We have truly become the undisputed largest 968Forum in the world and our circle of friends has expanded to reach all parts of the globe. The sun never sets on 968Forums.
Through the incomparable energy of Bob Larson (Flash) this site has been upgraded and the improvements will help the store of knowledge last for a 100 years, which was always one of our goals. Many thanks to Josh, who always lends a hand with the technical issues, and makes the ones and zeros stuff easier.
Pete is rarely seen but often heard on this forum. His focus is on providing service, parts and answers that have become the standard in the 968 universe. How many times is the answer to a question "Give Pete a call to confirm"?
We have had the chance to bring 968 enthusiasts together in California and Pennsylvania and we hope to have even more events in 2011. If anyone wants an event in another part of the country, or another part of the world we will help to advertise and support it. We are here for you. April will bring the lucky owners in California to Pas Robles in April, and more than a few East Coasters are planning to fly out an djoin the fun. The 968 "Takin' it to the Street" event in Newtown, PA (May 20-22) will be the second time that 968ers will have the opportunity to enjoy the hospitality and beauty of Bucks County Pennsylvania, with some brand new events for owners and their significant others.
As always, this site would be useless without your contributions. We will be making a concerted effort to insure the volume of information and comeraderie continues into 2011 and beyond. It is a pleasure to serve you all.
Regards,
Jay

Thanks for all the work you all do to keep this up and running. And thanks for the head's up about Paso Robles. That's my birthday weekend. A road trip down the coast just might fit the bill!
