Since a lot of you seem to have some sort of "other" car for daily use and the 968 is the "toy", I just thought that you might find it interesting to see how much driving my cars get since I have no "other" car. So this is a half-year summary for 2009. This has been the first year that my white car has been mostly working well and not always in for repairs. So I have been somewhat happier than before.
White 92 968 - 16,124 km (10,019 miles) - daily driver now until winter or next breakdown (total km is 301,833 km)
Blue 92 968 - 3,974 km (2,469 miles) - surprised, more than last year, been trying to stay at 6,000 km/year total (total is 65,561 km)
Black 06 Cayenne - 24,003 km (14,915 miles) - not driving much now, winter vehicle (total is 182,405 km)
Silver 08 Cayman S - 5,749 km (3,572 miles) - to work on Fridays and drive on weekend, got it May 1 (total is 5,749 km)
HALF-YEAR TOTAL is 49,850 km (30,975 miles)
I am down a bit from the last couple of years (usually drive about 125,000 km/yr) as I have not been driving to Toronto from Nova Scotia as much.
I envy you $3,000 km/yr guys - your repair and maintenance bills are probably low compared to mine.
