Greetings from Germany
#1

Hello everybody,

Thank for adding me to your group. Im from Germany, 37 years old and own my 968 year 92 targa since last summer.

Currently we spend some resources to make him roadworthy again. New breaks, timing belt, and some invests in the look/ painting. There was a small lack of invests from the years before but its driving very well and my wife and I had a first great two days roadtrip last autumn (in Germany Oct). Hopefully we can do this after Corona asap again.

Its my first Transaxle so Im interested get inspiration, learn and stay in contact.

Take care!

Thanks a lot guys. So true, fingers crossed for better times. I dont know how the weather is in the States or wherever you are (by the way, great to see 968 driver all over the world), here in Germany is it amazing though, especially for April.

My 968 hasnt CC and dont interested in. Im just looking forward where I can put the screens down and the targa away. Take care.

Welcome to the group -- there are great group of enthusiasts on this forum, and a wealth of information on the 968.     Look forward to seeing pictures of yours!

Here in Texas weather is still "good", but getting hotter as the days go by.   We're supposed to get storms tonight, but then weather gets nicer by the weekend and most of next week is supposed to be beautiful - hope to get some time out on the road before it gets too hot!

Its never been so easy as in this period for sure (lets say for the last 20 years). So you could go for it... Due to Covid19 restrictions Autobahns are empty actually and the great weather conditions are fantastic as well.

Only problem now is crossing the border from Holland into Germany, however it should be possible.

Could be. Or you need a essential reason for. Maybe an appointment at any German Porsche tuning garage.
