Gator Blue
#1

Now, before the purists jump on me... I had been thinking of this when I still had my 944, but never did it b/c of $$... the life of a poor college student. Anyhoo, I know that the resale of the car would go down b/c it wouldn't be the original color, but really.... I don't see myself EVER selling this car. That being said... I'd call it Gator Blue, but I might be biased that way... or Flash might call it "enlightened"

I'm thinking of something close to these shades:

Cheers? Jeers? Anyone have color codes?

Might be that the picture of the CS was taken in a parking structure, but it was much closer to what I would like... a deeper blue than the coupe on cars.com

How 'bout a couple of "Gator Orange" racing stripes to go with the blue?

I *was* thinking of some type of orange accent, but not necessarily racing stripes... Maybe dual pinstripes down the side along the edge (see pic below, imagine Blue paint under stripes...)

But maybe something along the lines of: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...2BSI%26otn%3D12

I dunno....

Not so Much this.... Of course, I'm sporting a cab, so there would not be *as* much orange.... but still, no.

First thing I did when I bought the blue one is peel off the pin stripes, I actually stopped down the road from the guy's house and started peeling.

You're much better off going with Martini Racing stripes! You already have the white car. Looks fantastic on the Cayman S:
