Fuel pump relay failure
#1

I was out joy riding this weekend and I stopped by the local Porsche dealer to drool over the Porsche 997 C4S. While there, my 968 refused to restart. I was blessed enough to have a spare fuel pump relay with me. I saw in a post somewhere to always keep one handy. At any rate, plugged it in and the car fired up. Does anyone know what causes the relay to go bad? I changed it two years ago just for fear of it going out.

I don't know what casues it, but if you just put one in, then you definately need a spare. $22 plus shipping from Paragon is cheap insurance.

Regards,

Jay
