Thanks for the kind words.

Back in the day, I instantly fell in love with the 944 when it debuted. The 944 Turbo in 1986 to me was just "pure sex." Then Porsche "poured" on more of the good stuff with the 944 Turbo S for 1988-1989.

I feel that the 944 Turbo S was the best of the bunch.

The car for sale above is my third 944 Turbo S. All have been original, unmolested, under 30,000 mile cars. I like this one the best of the three.

Being an "80's" fan, I really enjoyed Michael Mann's recest re-hash of Miami Vice with the self titled movie featuring Colin Ferral, Jaime Foxx and a Ferrari 430 Spyder (which was decked out in Dark Titanium on a black interior). There are only a few minutes of screen time with the 430, but I've watched the scenes ad-nausium!!!

To my eye, Porsche's "Stone Grey Metallic" is very similar to Ferrari's "Dark Titanium." I wouldn't jump at the chance to tie-up $250,000+ on a 430 Spyder (and then attempt to leave it in a parking lot without fainting from anxiety), so the 944 Turbo S above gives me the opportunity to play "mini-vice" for a lot less dough!

You know... besides posting photos of that 951S, you need to post a hi-res version of your avatar ;-)

lol - yeah - those guys are cheap - they look for stuff like used clutch disks - definitely not the audience for a high dollar car
