front splitter bent
#1

Houston, we have a problem. I "accidently" backed down a huge incline a few times and heard my front splitter scrape. It seems to be bent in the middle. Do i have to buy a new one, or should i try to reshape it and get it resprayed? I'll post pics in the morn.... which is soonish.

Here's my bend splitter. I think it sticks out like a sore thumb <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/dry.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

that's weird - it is polyurethane, and not fiberlass, right?

I would assume so, it flexes easily. I'm going to unscrew it and try to reshape it. I hope it's not the front bumper that's bent. It doesn't look like it in the photo.

the bumper cover is also polyurethane - it should not bend permanently - might pop back by just loosening the screws

i've mangled the heck out of mine, and it has always come back
