yes, i'm out of my mind - yes, i am doing it again
i am changing struts, and rather than retrofit stuff to my housings, i am swapping them out complete for something double adjustable and hydraulic, so as to be able to handle stiffer springs - as soon as these new ones arrive, my current setup will be available - anticipate 2 weeks max
this set is one of the paragon conversions, complete with threaded collars and perches for 2.5" dia coilover springs
the stock perch is also still intact, so you can run stock diameter springs if you want to
the entire setup doesn't even have 20k on them, and work perfectly
when paragon has them available, it costs you about $800 plus shipping of the converted new ones, plus shipping of your cores back to them - that puts you in for nearly a grand before it's done - tire rack surrently lists the cartridges at $171 each plus shipping, and you have to do the conversion yourself - the coilover kit is $265 at paragon
will sell entire setup (less springs) for $500 to your door via ups ground
i also have a compliment of eibach springs that can be sold with these - none have much time on them (please note that any spring over 200# should accompany a coilover rear, or stiffer torsion bars)
rates available are:
10" 300# (nice for a 1" lowered car - smooth but firm - excellent cornering)
10" 350# (the absolute limit in rate for street with these cartridges - you will notice a stiffer ride on the bumps - only lowerable to about 1" below stock with stock perch intact)
8" 300# (what i have been running lately because i am a lot lower)
maybe a set of 8" 500# (way too stiff for street)
any pair of the above springs for an additional $100
please feel free to contact me for what rate coilover or torsion bar to run in the rear to match any of these, or others, as i have now run numerous combinations, and can comment on the results
