Finally progress
#1

Work has started in earnest on the IMA Turbo kit. I have included 2 pictures of the mock up on a 944 engine. The turbo is not the final part but is there to determine location issues. Hope to have it done for Hershey.

I have a test pony if you want to install it <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/smile.png" class="smilie" alt="" />

Good luck, can't wait to see how it turns out.

Yes, definitely keep us posted. I'm very curious as to your parameters (compression, max boost, of course dyno results, etc.). It seems that bit by bit, more and more 3.0 turbos are appearing on the scene. Is IMA planning to offer this as a kit, or is it a one-off for your car?

It will be offered as a kit. WE should have some definitive numbers as we now have a chassis dyno. Hopefully we will have everything sorted out by Hershey. We did do a test with a 968 engine on the engine dyno a while back and got about 160HP increae at the flywheel..

Things have stalled a bit. Too many cars needing tuning now that we have the chassis dyno. Hoping to complete the mock up this month.
