Im sure glad I found this thread before I took my car into get the belts done. They charge me an extra 2.5 hours to install it and a new VR, but I can sleep at night knowing my car isnt going to start itself in the storage unit.

Yep they are all starting to look that bad,

I think some substandard products were used in the original construction

But I do think an extra 2.5 hours was a bit much, I fitted mine on the garage floor with the car on axle stands in just over an hour

Replaced mine a few weeks ago , took me around an hour , the little clip under he inlet manifold , was the biggest pain .

Have  a lift , that helps .

The  metal/rubber clips , where to small , think that there is a difference , in right an lefthand cars , the cable from the battery also runs thru there on a left hand car.

No big deal , old ones where in good shape , so re used them .
