#1

$55 a corner from Sunset. Wow. Made me realize how ugly the bumperettes are. IMHO...

I agree. Thanks. I was just looking at those. Looks like I can save some money from ordering oversees.

I just got these from Sunset. I had to order a 922 S2 flywheel damper for the SC as well so I ate the UPS rape charge. Soince Jeff lef tthe new "lady" told me she could ship USPS instead of UPS. If so then the lenses are a steal.

If you think Sunset has UPS rape charges you should check out the UPS sodomy charges from Suncoast. The Sunset guys are great.

I believe the title of the thread indicates the Euro-style corner lamps (more likely the entire light fixtures which are wider and allow for removal of the little black bumperettes without leaving a hole).

Here's a U.S. style with bumperettes: http://t2.gstatic.co...wQME9AN0aN35T6w

.. and here's a Euro style without: http://t1.gstatic.co...S76GarhMUa7wxIH

I think you have to call them, they don't have an online parts system IIRC.

Anyone know where to source CLEAR indicators? I have found one place in the UK, but would like something here is Canada/US.

Tim,

The CLEAR indicators you're referring to are a 911 corner marker. They look alright in pictures, but from everything I've heard and read, they aren't a great fit on the actual car...

A photo of the clear lenses. You can see they don't quite fit right. The clear lights have always been a little too rice burner/racer rick for my tastes.

agreed - while i can appreciate the look on some cars, on ours, it just doesn't seem right, and the misfit really bugs me

Also a couple of nice pics of the bumperette delete on the forum home page. Agree - the fitment, or lack of it, kills that application on this car.

I really wanted to try to make a set of smoke lenses by casting a Euro set but when I received my new Euro ones I realized that getting them apart would be lens suicide. Clear is definitely ricey.
