The Veloce wheels have fake bolts too don't they?

I've had those Veloce wheels on my eBay "watch list" for at least eight months, but I can't bring myself to pull the trigger. I think it's an aversion to cleaning all those bolts, fake or otherwise!

I thought the Veloce were three piece... might be mistaken.

They are one piece with fake bolts, hence the price.

SO I bit the bullet and bought the Veloce 3.6s. Also bought some BF Goodrich g-Force T/A KDW NT. All part of the transformation. D1R SC install is happening next week. Car already in the shop getting pre-inspected for seals, head, water pump, shafts, etc, etc, etc... I'm compiling pictures from the job to put up after the whole thing is done. Still have to paint, install new steering wheel and shifter, possibly a boot spoiler (http://www.porscheshop.co.uk/acatalog/po...yling.html).... lots to do. Hopefully will be done by mid-March. So pumped right now!!!! <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/3gears.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

Sounds awesome, looking forward to the pics. Side note, "new steering wheel and shifter". If you are replacing the actual shifter there are a zillion fails here. No one has managed to replace the OEM shifter without an annoying buzz after the fact.

What is the desired weight of wheels? Or is it the wheel / tire combo that must be weighed? Heck, I don't even know how much the originals weigh... I did a search but came up empty.

You reminded me, I found these two cool links.

Sizing tires with rims (remember, our desired height is 25") http://www.rimsntires.com/rt_specs.jsp

Wheel weights (Not *ALL*, but a very comprehensive resource... almost 4500 wheels in here...) http://www.wheelweights.net/ .. click button on left that says "wheel weights list".

"new shifter" = new leather and insert, not knob. I read a TON of complaints about rattle and decided I don't want to deal with that.
