Engine Check Light on
#21

Here my update...

I changed the Knock Sensor that was located in the back of the motor...(did it without taking off a thing)....That gave me more power and the Engine Check light is no longer on, but still felt like I had a soft pedal. I tighten up the accellerator cable...(there was a little bit of slack)...then I changed the Fuel Filter...(which had dark grey fuel pour out of it), and that help restore power...then I changed back the plugs back from bosch to Autolite...and that help restore some more power back.

If I had to sum it up:

Was running at 50%

replacing Knock Sensor restore it to 80%

replacing dirty fuel filter restore it to 90%

replacing the spark plugs restore it to 95%

So there still feels like there is one more thing that need replacing...It feel like I am shifting a little bit early...It not as tight as it could be....Just doesn't feel like the Porsche I test drove 10 years ago..not sure if I am making any sense...

But I don't have the fear of stalling at 60 mph in traffic anymore ...

I think I'll invest in a compression tester...and see how to go about cleaning the o2 sensor...

I appreiate all the advice..it helped out tremendously...

Try an injector clean out. It will feel like it used to when you get done.

My PM ran a Fuel/Air Induction Service using BG 9210 Inject-A-Flush® Apparatus.

check it out with your PM.
