Drivers Window stopped working
#1

So my drivers side window just up and stopped working yesterday - worked early in the day and then didn't...

Passenger side still works. I have checked the fuses and all seem good (and there aren't separate fuses for drivers side and passenger side windows that I see). Today I tried switching window rocker switches with the passenger side and it worked for a couple of times and then died again...so my thought would be a bad drivers side window motor or at least connections haven't pulled the door panel yet. Any thoughts? Think I'm on the right track?

Thx Sam

Side note my sunroof stopped working too? fuses look good - not sure of the relay...not as critical as drivers window but still annoying...always something...

There is a great troubleshoot that can be found on Clark's Garage. Worth a shot:

Could be one of the switches, if I recall, they are chained, like the old Christmas lights, one goes out none of them work, maybe the one is half failed?

Ok it seems my windows express has died...after 10-12 years of fateful service. Anybody ever do any repairs to a faulty windows express or just time to order a new one...

Thanks Sam
