Did ya ever notice?
#1

Well here I am on a beautiful sunny day top down flying up RT 25 a 4 lane about 70+ ...................All of a sudden, the sky is as blue as can be, but sprinkles on my windshield. Of course being the pessimist I am I'm sure I popped a hose. It gets heaver and more intense on the windscreen but I'm as dry as a bone. I look around and it is absolutely pouring now and not a drop on me............I drove about 15 min. in this down pour and I swear stayed dry as a dry can be. Laugh ...........the windshield wipers beating time as I'm passing people I'm sure they're thinking that poor fool why doesn't he pull over and put up the top? Stop I would have gotten soaked. As I got off the highway it stopped. So I had a good laugh and got the car washed at the same time.

yup - with the new tonneau cover and the windscreen, and windows up, unless you practically come to a stop, it's going to be pretty hard to get wet

I wouldnt have guessed it.

I have been one of theose guys saying "why doesnt he put the top up" more then once. I've seen it on a Lexus SC, and MB SL. Not sure if it applies to them but there they were, cruising along in a down poor with the top down.

I love my 968 for what it is & don't hate it for what it isn't!

My MGB worked the same way, cruising and no problems in the rain.
