Your cars however are highly anticipated.<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->

Oh, just great .. now I'll have to return my Speedo
Eeww - even I shudder at the thought of me ( or anyone of the male gender for that matter ) wearing a speedo .. ugh ! And to think that's what I was wearing at the beach when I lived in Europe. But hey, it would have made made for a great "Mr. February" draped over a Trabant or a Yugo calendar, I must say..

I'll be there.

I have 5 panels that need the dentless guy's touch. 2 doors, one hood, LFquarter, LR quarter. I'm not crazy about spending $500, but if we can work him down a bit based on volume. Remember I need struts, plug wires, cap, rotor, and probably some new belts.....

With any luck I'll come out looking 1/2 as good as Brian's car.

You'd want to fly into Dulles, not Philly! No girls confirmed as of yet...may be difficult to get that by the spouses, but I have indeed thought about doing a calendar with unique and different cars that I get to see (and work on) via my side business. Most recent was a 67 Ferrari 330GT and the 65 Cobra I maintain just won "Best Paint in Show" a few weeks back. It may be doable to put together a 968 only calendar at some point. I'll talk to my photog friend.

Do we need to wash the car before we arrive? I had a vision of 4 cars being washed in your driveway and thought that may not fly too well with the water conservation brigade.

not required, but it would sure make things go faster it the bulk of the gunk on the car was already removed and all we had to do was a touch up wash

dent guy is booked - he will work out a special deal for us - obviously he can't commit to specifics without seeing the dents - bring cash for that work though - i am not involved (other than booking him and convincing him to give us a break) - he is showing up at 9am - please be here at that time if you want his services - i don't want him to have to hang around all day

still no requests for wheel repair guy - that's fine, as i am not sure at this late date that i could get him now anyway

pretty much everything is ready - might even have some interesting surprises for everyone - crossing my fingers

The really fun trick was doing a video conference via Skype the other day in a taxi when tethered to the iphone 3gs. Technology is SOOO cool... when it works!
