Design 1 Racing inventory resolved.
#1

I did not anticipate the rush on inventory that I had when I launched the site. It caught me very much by surprise. It exhausted my inventory much more quickly than I anticipated. My vendors were then booked with other jobs, and I fell to the back of the line. On top of that, Boeing scooped up all of the 7075 aluminum (which is what I use instead of 6061, because 7075 is stiffer) for their new planes, and I had to wait until some became available again.

By the end of the week I think all items will now be in stock and shipped out to those who ordered things.

My apologies for the delays, and I hope to have taken steps to correct this in the future.

Flash, you gotta get in Boeing's face and tell them what's what! Who needs planes when there are 968s waiting to be modded? My god, where are the priorities!!!! <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/whine.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

Thanks for the head's up. I'll be getting my order in for a firewall and strut tower brace.

This wouldn't be because you don't use any inventory tracking software or all the other neat apps out to prevent this now is it? Lol

If there is an app that can predict required inventory levels needed for a new venture, I would sure like to know about it. <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/tongue.png" class="smilie" alt="" />

Maybe in fact this is something that Jobs can do from the afterlife.

lol - true enough. it has been an issue all along, but i was really surprised to see how fast things went when i opened up the site. the lower pricing may have been responsible for that, i'm not sure. at any rate, i think i can stay ahead of it now. i sure hope so. i apologize to everyone who ordered stuff and has had to wait. i'll do what i can to avoid that in the future.

Lear if your producing a widget type product that app is called a business model or pro forma. Figure out how many you want to sell and what minimum sales require and plug in numbers. Its not inventory it's sales that should drive the number. Bob just please don't start sending all the messages amazon sends you when you buy something! Lol. No apologies necessary. Sales outstripping product generally is a good thing as long as its not constant. Think it's only the prices? !!!

by the way. there were a couple of orders that came in during the "free shipping" special we had in october, that came in before i could fix the website so that it would not charge for domestic shipping. please check your package, as for those orders i included a refund check for the shipping charges.

sorry for the delay and inconvenience. i hope now to have gotten on top of things and that won't happen again.

I'll take my toolkit to work , tell me wat you need , there are to many parts on these aircraft we hardly ever use , and the passengers need more legroom anyway . <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/ninja.gif" class="smilie" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/beer.gif" class="smilie" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/beer.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

Ok, maybe a Crown Vic with a McDonalds logo (handpainted) and 24's doesn't look so bad after all.

They used that 6061 stuff in my Alu bike. Seemed plenty stiff to me. My arse was killing me after 30 miles <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/smile.png" class="smilie" alt="" />

Check out this stuff. Folks in Japan are very creative.

My jaw dropped when I watched that video! One or two "nut cases" I can comprehend, but a "whole bunch" of them??? Wow those are ugly!!!
