Bad news for me if I end up getting another 968 instead of the 930 I'm eye balling. All the D1R parts I purchased for my old car were exceptional

I was just about to send an email to self to remember to order some items when I get home from sales trip tomorrow!

But.... then I decided to go to the website and order.

Flash,

Never got the e-mail. Do you think you can forward it to me? I'm sure the storm screwed everything up.

Whatever happened to the lower mesh grille? I thought you were going to get some of those made up.

lol - i am - at least that is the plan. i have not had time to get it scanned and work that out. frankly, it's lower on my list, as i seriously doubt there will be many people who want one. i don't expect to do more than 10 of them, and will probably be stuck with half of those for quite some time. this was something pretty much done and over many years ago. i'm just going to do one batch to clean up the last few people who didn't get around to it before, but only if i have a number of people lined up in advance. so far NOBODY has emailed me about it.

Are the rear speaker mounts for the Cab still going to happen?

funny - i was finally just playing with that yesterday. i should be finishing the drawing of the bracket piece today. i'll post more info on that as soon as i have cost numbers worked out. the cost of the mold is a big question mark, and whether or not i can recover that from the first batch of orders, which, if i go forward with this project, is likely to be the only batch made.

I'm definitely in for the lower grille. The body shop where I was going to get the splitter painted/installed and front bumper cover repainted has no desire to fabricate one and I'd rather get a metal one than plastic. So, I was holding out for a D1R grille. If the D1R version is too far in the future, or iffy that it will happen, is the plastic grille something that Sunset would carry?

Yes, Sunset has them, or can get them. I haven't bought one yet, but I got a quote of $82.09 a year or so ago. Part number is 944-505-385-09

Thanks for the part # bombfactory. I'm still hoping for a D1R grille, but I guess that's my fallback plan.
