Hi all,
I am a 968 enthusiast in the Washington DC area. I think it is the most beautiful porsche model ever produced - stylish inside and out, with performance to match. Looking forward to meeting some of you along the way as I embark on my 968-purchasing-odyssey!
cheers,
Robb

Hi Robb,
Lots of company in the DC area. Keep your eyes open for local events, Darryl often has detail days, etc. in the Fall and Spring. It won't be long before you catch the fever and find a 968 of your own.
Regards,
Jay

Welcome Robb...you've come to the right place for 968 info! Keep an eye out and I'm sure you'll find a good candidate for purchase. The cheaper the selling price, the more money you'll likely have to put into it to get it up to par, but there are things that need done immediately for operation and safety concern and then things you can fix while you drive.
There are quite a few of us around and I just met another new owner from Manassas over the labor day weekend. Thanks for the Detail Day plug, Jay...haven't firmed up a time to do something this fall yet, but it has been on my mind.

Thanks for welcome, gents!
Yeah, I already have the fever and the only thing that can cure it is some 968.
I do have a tight budget, but not so tight that I am looking for a 944 .
I'm looking forward to spending many hours reading this site and daydreaming, much respect to you guys for your knowledge! (and your sweet cars)
