Need help pulling headliner parts in coupe!
#1

I am in the process of redoing my headliner as it has come undone around the sunroof and has a couple of bad places. I started pulling the accessory parts, like the front piece right by the windshield that holds the overhead light, and the associated A-pillars. My problem is that even after all the screws are removed, they are still attached! Are they glued on as well? On the sides I could only find the three obvious screws, are there more? What about the front overhead piece?

Thanks,

Wes

Just removed mine Sat. The A pillar covers and the top pieces will come out after you remove all of the screws. Yours are probably just stuck. There are three screws in each a-pillar. 3 in each visor and 2 in each visor clip. To remove the center sunroof switch, you need to gently pry off the movable plastic part of the switch. There is one screw behind it that holds it on. You also have to gently pull out the plastic frames around the rear windows. I think everything else is pretty straight forward.

I think that taking it off is going to be much easier than putting the new on.

I also had to take mine off to fix the sunroof. It tore trying to get if off because it was stuck around the various lips and wasn't strong enough after all those years to take any gentle prying. An upholstery shop put a new headliner on for about $70 and it looks good.
