That looks like a whole lot more repair than the photo's showed. The rear must have take much more of a hit than it appeared. I thought most of the damage was at the front - bu this looks to have been that easy part.

Lots of fibreglass panels would have saved some weight?

Looks like it is all coming back together. It will hopefully be better than new once done.

Not often you get to see a "cutaway view" of your car. Glad it will be back on the road again.

The shop will charge max. 9K EURO, using parts from a donor car which I bought in the UK for 5K EURO.

Hope to get back about 5K from parts sale of the donor car.

If everything goes well, my cost will be below 9K EURO (= 12.5 K USD)

Got a call from the workshop today.

The car is ready and I can pick her up on Monday.

Love the still-scuffed-up front license plate - you should leave it like that as a little souvenir from the spin. The car looks fantastic!

Thanks for the feedback.

Regarding the front license plate, I am still not sure what to do.

I really want to keep it, as a souvenir. But (being in Germany) I am quite sure that it is illeagal to drive with the damaged plate ...
