They had it, I bought it , its in. Same thing here, no warning at all, started cold in the morning without any hesitation , two and three on off cycles during the day , but then after a five minute store visit... slooooow cranking , and it just died. Luckily I always carry a mini-jumpstarter in all my cars, so I brought it back to life temporarily ( ref. Gene Wilder in Youg Frankenstein : its alive, its alive !! ) and drove it home for this mornings replacement .


Now I have to reset all the radio stations and all the other multiple functions on that head unit .. arrrgh.

I don't know if there are Varta batteries in the US, but i have a Varta 74AH batterie installed since 2012 and still going strong.

I do put the C-tek on when i don't use the car for a longer period of time.

It may help to chose the right size ( https://bit.ly/33dh9Mp) We are using "Optima Red Top" batteries in our company's ( rite way towing nyc) diesel trucks, sofar their performance is best.

Just saw this battery advertised in Panorama :  about $ 800 , BUT considering it's about 70% lighter (  35 lbs or so less  )  than a regular battery, and yet with the same cranking power , it may be well worth the price for those of you weight-watching folks, Track guys in particular ..
