Cooling hose damages under breaking
#1

Now my English approaches it's limits: words for engine parts and aux systems. At the front of the engines we have wheels driving the servo. These are rather close to one of the big hoses for the cooling system and the connector for the 12 V to the fan is on my car right opposite another wheel.

Background here is that I hit a badger and got a new front/cooler. After this I have had problems with chafe on the cooling hose (easilly fixed by just cutting it a bit shorter) and that the engine also chafes on the connector to the fan. On my car the distance to the fan connector is about 7-8 mm (1/4 - 1/3" appr).

Was wondering what kind of spacing you have? The engine appears to be moving 1/2 inch or so under heavy breaking.

Need this for a dialogue with the workshop doing the job.

The radiator bar was changed. Perhaps more likely my front is a bit shorter due to an earlier crash repair and the workshop did not take this into account when repairing.
