I use a paper clip, straighten it out, insert into the little hole, press and hold and it should start moving...

Mine doesnt keep accurate time either. Is there an upgrade for this?
I'm not fond of the square box and orange hands.

[quote name='SILVY968' post='36153' date='May 29 2007, 11:01 PM']I was not fond of the square clock either. Did not like the location either..made a change.
All VDO. round clock then vacuum then oil pressure.

Nice set up.
But I dont want to loose that little cubby that sits to the left of the clock, its my cell phone/sunglasses holder.

You have to push the button in hard. Using a pen doesn't work because the ball point is the same size as the hole. Paper clip is great and be sure to push hard. On my coupe the button works better when I also push a bit sideways. Just keep fiddling. As noted, there is a also a delay.

[quote name='gryphon' post='37160' date='Jun 17 2007, 12:35 PM']I like the looks of the OEM clock too, but it drives me nuts that it never has the same time as my Alpine.

I just set my radio to display the station/CD info rather than the clock.
I also like the OEM clock look(and mine works <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/tongue.gif" class="smilie" alt="" /> ); I also agree with the p-clip/tooth-pick idea, a pen just wont work.

I use the toothpick method. Yes, there's a delay but it's sets easily and keeps pretty good time. Just lucky, I guess.

mine's fine, no problems. Just use whatever pen I have in the car at the time. Keeps time fine. Great little clock.
