I use a paper clip, straighten it out, insert into the little hole, press and hold and it should start moving...

It is a delayed response when you push the paper clip into the hole. It takes it a few seconds before it moves. 1st slow and then fast after a few seconds.

I have to actually remove the clock and then use a paper clip to set it. It won't budge while in place.

I was not fond of the square clock either. Did not like the location either..made a change.

All VDO. round clock then vacuum then oil pressure.

You have to push the button in hard. Using a pen doesn't work because the ball point is the same size as the hole. Paper clip is great and be sure to push hard. On my coupe the button works better when I also push a bit sideways. Just keep fiddling. As noted, there is a also a delay.

Use a toothpick- no scratches.



I love the square clock and orange hands- they match the gauges. Then again, I like my watches rectangular too.

I like the looks of the OEM clock too, but it drives me nuts that it never has the same time as my Alpine.

I just set my radio to display the station/CD info rather than the clock.

I also like the OEM clock look(and mine works <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/tongue.gif" class="smilie" alt="" /> ); I also agree with the p-clip/tooth-pick idea, a pen just wont work.

i'm not smart to enough to be able to tell time, so i just try to go by the following:



sun comes up - go out and wax car



sun really up - go and drive car



sun going down - drive car really fast



sun down - stop car at bar and start drinking

mine's fine, no problems. Just use whatever pen I have in the car at the time. Keeps time fine. Great little clock.
