What carbon parts are missing out there for the 968? I have a set of cooling inlets for the front brakes made out of fiber glass and they could be used to make plugs for carbon fiber pieces instead. What else is on the wish list?

I have only seen those on the 997. Are they available for the 968 or did you mean that style?

<{POST_SNAPBACK}><!--quotec-->Well,since you're asking...
In addition to the hood, I remember a thread many years ago (I believe started by Flash), about the possibility of a carbon fiber torque tube. Is this possible/practical, or am I hallucinating?<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->
It would be a nice piece. But (and it is a big but) making a carbon torque tube is not something that you do with the back of your hand since the possible dangers involved with one failing seems to great.

What about a pin hood design that not only acts as a regular hood but also acts as a "strut rod", ie reinforcing the whole front end?
