Pulled out of a parking lot on to hwy, went about 100 ft and car died. Still had power steering control and other electrics so I was able to steer off the road with no problem. Cranked it a few times and after about 30 secs, it started back up, drove home 6 miles without any further problems. My thoughts are the following:
1. Fuel pump issue
2. DME relay
3. Wiring/ground issue
4. All of the above
Anyone have any other thoughts and where to start testing?
Thx

That's the cheapest fix, so I will start there. Pelican has a DME made by Stribel for $25 and I've seen Kaehler for about the same price, anyone have any experience with these brands. An OEM Porsche relay is $90.

Check alo the connectors at th underside of the car for the fuelpump. At 50 centimeters from the pump, above the gearbox is also a connector These one could be culprit. Mine was because I lost 3 volts in the wire. And the connectors were getting hot, When hot the don't work anymore and when the cool down they did. Frustrating and it gives you a bad feeling when driving the car.
