So I went out to get a smog today. It failed in Malfunction indicator light and also Fuel EVAP test. Fuel EVAP test is new to me and I have no idea about this. I have no idea how the malfunction indicator light isn't working. Of course when I go i'm barely low on oil so when he started it up after it had been on a slight hill, the oil light came on. And also the other day my check engine light came on and gave me an 02 sensor code. Not sure if this had anything to do with it. So i'm starting with cleaning the MAF to hopefully clear the check engine light. Top off oil should clear the warning light. I don't know if those two things could be why the Malfunction indicator light failed.



As for the Fuel EVAP test I have no idea where to start or even if it is something I should attempt. Anyone have any idea's?

So I also failed big time on the NO. Not sure how to fix that one either.
