Cannot view Forum through new Internet provider
#1

With the move to Brisbane, we have changed Internet provider (to iPrimus). I can get my mail, surf the net, purchase stuff, but cannot gain access to the forum. I keep getting a 403 Forbidden error.

Can anyone shed some light?

If you've changed ISP's, you will also have changed public IP addresses. If 968forums.com uses any anti-spam service, even that built into IP.Board, it's possible your new public IP address is listed as a known spammer and you are being denied access. Get your public IP address and check it at www.stopforumspam.com, for starters. If you don't know how to get your public IP address, your ISP can help.

Rap,

Up my contribution rate, quality, accuracy, humor level. . . . . .?

I think I have been tagged as a spammer - but I hate Spam. I don't think I have met anyone who has ever said, Spam, mmmmmm, yummy. It just does not have the same universal appeal as say beer or alcohol.

Ever put spaghetti sauce on it?

Rap,

Nope. Find it hard to even smell it out of the can. Could think of lots of other things that spaghetti sauce would go better with, like pasta, garlic bread, toast, shirts, steak, etc. nope - spam didn't make the list of options.

I am sure that if you drown anchovies in something they might taste good too. Same for oysters - lots of sauce and bacon isn't enough to make those taste good. And having lived in the USA - who thought up Prairie Oysters. No matter how much sauce you put on those, they are not getting eaten.

Have to admit though, garlic and snails - only the French could look at those two and make it work.

So, nope, definitely not a spammer. Not even a hammer - I am not too fond of ham either (too much every Christmas).
