Just like a walrus in mating season, ending up with a tight seal is always a good thing ... same goal as one would expect with a proper windshield installation.
The shop tells me as soon as the job is completed, the sealing process is already as cured as it can be and I can drive the car right way, even on bumpy roads. Supposedly nothing can move around to affect how the windshield is set in place, once done.
I am a bit skeptical however, so just wondering if they're correct or if I should leave them the car overnight to rest at least 12 hrs before I dive it ( I'm doing this at their site as opposed to the mobile service in that they also said the shop is far better equipped to do a much better job sealing the windshield on these type of cars, unlike other vehicles with greater tolerancesfor 1 mm here, another mm there hit or miss placement )
The drive home from the shop is about 5 miles, on average roads, not all of them in great shape.
